This Saturday November 18th is our 4th annual Mistletoe Market Arts and Craft expo.  From 10am -2pm we’ll have over 40 vendors to help you complete (or start) your holiday shopping.  Admission is $2 and children 12 and under are free.  We’ll have a canteen on site with hot and cold beverages along with baked good and other tasty treats.  The choir will perform at 12:30pm on the stage, what a great way to put you into the holiday spirit. ****UPDATED**** This is an event for all ages! The date is Friday, October 27th from 6-8pm. We have gone bigger this year and expanded to 2 gyms!! In one you can expect fun dancing lights, a DJ and great music and in the other gym you will find a costume contest, several games, canteen, gross out station and more! Everyone (including adults 😉) are encouraged to get in the spirit of Halloween fun and dress in costume. Friday Sept 22nd is NFS’s first movie night of 2017-18 school year and You’re invited! Never been to one?  Let me break it down for ya. Doors open at 6pm and the movie Despicable Me 3 starts at 6:30pm….wait what?  You don’t have time to get home make supper and get to the event on time?  No worries!  We’ll have hot Little Caesar’s pepperoni or cheese pizza waiting for you.  All you have to do is come dressed in your comfy clothes, bring a pillow, a blanket and a favorite plushie to snuggle. Friday May 26th from 5-7pm at Northrop Frye school. The home and School association is hosting their annual family fun night. We have started planning many great attractions for the night, including bouncy castle, face painters, silent auction, special character guests, a photo booth, BBQ from Sobey’s Elmwood dr. and so much more. The silent auction needs donations so if you have a contact with a company who’d graciously love to make a donation please let us know and we can get you the formal letter. H&S presents Sing! for our final movie night of the year.  It will be shown this Friday March 17th at 6:15pm.  Doors open at 6pm to buy snacks and grab a seat.  This event we are trying something new-the showing will be in the cafeteria with the screen on the stage.  feel free to bring cozy blankets and wear your jammies. Our first Paint Nite is this Thursday, March 2 at 7:00 PM! This event will be taught by our very own Art Teacher, Rachel O’Brien! And the best news is, this event is open to middle school and up students! The first Paint Nite like this in our region! How cool is that?!!? As the Home and School we support many school events and activities and the Scholastic book fair is one. Marcelle Blomerus asked us to recruit volunteers and drum up some attention for this great event, so here’s the info: Our next Scholastic Book Fair will be from November 21 to November 25, 2016.
