As the Home and School we support many school events and activities and the Scholastic book fair is one. Marcelle Blomerus asked us to recruit volunteers and drum up some attention for this great event, so here’s the info: Our next Scholastic Book Fair will be from November 21 to November 25, 2016. We are looking for volunteers to help us during the time slots below. All Book Fair volunteers will be able to get a chance to go to the Scholastic Warehouse sale (50% 0ff) after the book fair.   Friday night at 5:30pm the doors open.  We will be serving Little Caesar’s cheese or pepperoni pizza for $2 a slice and we’ll have the regular goodies for sale as well (popcorn, fruit snacks, water and juice boxes).  Admission cost $3 a person or $10 for a family of 4 or more. Pizza will be served in the cafeteria until 6pm and the movie will begin at 6:15 in the gym.   Bring your blanket and pillow and comfy clothes and enjoy an evening out while supporting NFS!

welcome back to our friends – old and new Hi everyone and welcome back to school year 2016-17!!! It’ll be a great one! We are already on our way to completing our first week of school therefore the remaining home and school association executive got together last evening for a quick “unofficial” meeting.   Our main goal was to get a plan rolling to set up a date for our first meeting and organize to have a table displayed in the lobby at school for Meet the teacher night next Thursday Sept 15th.  So that being said our first home and school meeting for the 2016-17 school...

Northrop Frye Home & School is excited to announce that on Thursday March 24th (since there is no school on Friday) we will be hosting a Pizza and Movie night.  Pizza will be on sale at 5:30 and then at 6:15 the movie “Good Dinosaur” will begin on the big screen in the gym.  As always in order to make this event possible we are looking for several volunteers to assist. Hello! Your home and school exec are busy making plans for the upcoming staff appreciation week. We have great things planned for the staff of NFS the week of February 15-19th. Events like chocolate day, where everything we serve the staff is covered in chocolate. Another day we’ll have a treasure chest filled with goodies to treat themselves with, along with other great treats throughout the week. We also would like to relieve them of some of their duties but can’t due to procedures except one: Kiss and Ride! If we can get a couple of volunteers for everyday to do the kiss and ride...

As we near the event we are busy planning all the details for this big day!  I have some info that would like to share with you. Saturday Dec 5th from 9am-3pm we invite you and your family to come shop for the Christmas season or maybe something for you.  We have almost 70 vendors with a wide variety of hand crafted items and independent representatives from companies.  There will be something for everyone!  Admission is $2 and children 12 and under are free. On site we also will have a canteen serving coffee, tea, treats and Freddie’s pizza during lunch time, live music from our school...
